Serving the Greater Los Angeles area, OBA, Inc., better known as Outward Bound Adventures, is a nonprofit organization that will shortly surpass the half-century mark in providing meaningful nature-based educational experiences for urban underserved youth, young adults and their families.
OBA uses the wilderness, urban communities and classroom settings to teach its middle school and high school participants about the natural world. We engage them in activities and initiatives that promote self-empowerment, integrity, accountability, health, community service and environmental education. This year, OBA will serve approximately 1,100 participants.
